Earnest Appeal for donation
With truant monsoon in kutch District of Gujarat, the situation today is almost like’ drought hit’ and scarcity is so high that the region has received only 25% of seasonal rainfall. Like in any drought hit situation the worse sufferer is Govansh, particularly stray, ill- nourished and helpless cows.
The cow is considered as sacred & holy animal in Hindu religion. We worship cow on various occasions and we call them Gomata. Just consider how important is cow and cow products — cow milk being healthy drink, cow urine to be used as medicine in chronic dieses like cancer, dung being used as compost manure or bio-technical manure so that the organic food grains, fruits,Vegetables, milk can be obtained.
Shri Kutch Narayan Sarovar Gaushala — Panjrapol Trust is one of the professionally managed NGO working to maintain and preserve the cows. Currently there are 1100 cows are in our Gaushala and this figure is expected to rise with the drought and scarcity. The trust has 80 — C certificate.
We cannot expect rain in Kutch before July till that we have to store Fodder for cows this is very necessary and very difficult without fund to do this thing. We hope Gujarat govt. is also thinking about this problem.
In this circumstances, you are earnestly requested to extend a helping hand to support our efforts to maintain, preserve and protect Govansh not only from religious point of view but economical too.
